What DO you get a guy who wants nothing?
I will be happy to tell you ~ YOU get a 1 - day knife making workshop with Barry Gardner at Seppeltsfield's JamFactory studios ~ THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!
Tinto is terribly difficult to buy a Christmas or 'any other' celebratory day present - gift buying BECOMES HARD WORK and I DREAD THE PROSPECT.
So, I thought long and hard - he is an artist. Tinto loves creating and making objects with his hands - WHY NOT A KNIFE?
Have you heard of Barry Gardner? Have you seen him on Youtube...visited his website? Do so.
You will be amazed and astounded ~ www.gardnerknives.com.
Barry is a self-made man, no doubt, but he has developed celebrity status due to the unbelivable grand and handsome knives he makes. People from the city, the surrounding region, every state in this great nation and BEYOND...want to watch Barry work or sign-up for a knife making workshop or purchase a 'Barry Gardner' knife for their own household.
Ladies, you do NOT have to be a male in order to get involved in this fine attraction ~ this is not 'Secret Men's Business' - his doors are open to anyone having a keen desire to 'create a blade' ~ understand, though, you may have to wait - so many people have signed up for Barry's workshops ahead of you!
Throughout the workshop you will discover different steels used to create a 'Damascus' knife, learn about the forging process and attain knowledge through the process of forging regarding how a completely unique pattern is created in the blade. You can choose your 'handle' material, learn how to sharpen the knife properly and care for it and TAKE YOUR NEW KNIFE HOME.
You must know - the knife will become a TREASURE...even a family heirloom - the knife is simply that grand and special.
So...HOP IN ~ take the trip to Seppeltsfield to view the artists in their workshops and studios.
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED...and IF you, too, have a person whom is especially hard to select a gift for - you will want to consider a 'Barry Gardner' knife making workshop.
I have never seen Tinto so SHOCKED AND EXCITED. IF this blog sounds as if I am a 'promoter' ~ so be it. I am ONE HAPPY BLANCO to see Tinto so completely thrilled with this particular gift.
Caio' ~ from Blanco of The Roaming Stevens ~ This season for 'giving' was most pleasing!

This knife is THE BEST kitchen implement I have EVER used...in my lifetime. So appreciative! This may have been Tinto's gift, but it has been MOST beneficial to me, too! Haaaaaaa! FABULOUS.
