Review: Camping Marabella Playa
Here is another example of a motorhome park experience. Camping Marabella Playa is HUGE; personal preference...we prefer smaller. Great news - store on site, bakery, butcher, spirits and wines, The Mediterraneo Bar, an additional full restaurant and bar, clean showers, TOO large. It was a small city and many guests lived there full time. The kicker was this: 20.00 Euros to stay - 5.00 Euros a day for Wi-Fi. This place is a 30+ year old establishment. Owner advised us Wi-Fi was 'optional'. Tinto quickly informed owner, 'No, it is a necessity in order to keep in contact with family while travelling.' True. Wi-Fi appreciated for multiple purposes, including blogging. Tinto & I have been ROAMING since the 1st of September...(many posts ahead of me that are back-logged), but...never, ever have we paid 5.00 Euros for Wi-Fi. Remember, we are attempting to travel joyfully on a minimum budget and NO itinetary. THAT is the way to ROAM.
They run a tight ship. Flowers sprinkled in and about the grounds. Nice, wide berths. Cannot begin to imagine what this place would be like in the high season. Aaaaagggghhh! No, Thanks.
We kindly departed the very next morning and darted for a further place along the coast; in search of FREE Wi-Fi! WHY? Because we CAN!
Stay. Tuned.
Tinto & Blanco
