Not Enough Hours In a Day...
Darn. Damn. Durn. DURN IT.
Tinto and I zip into Adelaide at least once a week or that is the way it has happened for the last few weeks.
Amazing new roads to the city; most certain that news is a yawn to everyone else, but it is a gentle surprise to us and makes driving in quite easy. The good news about a city that does not have monstrous proportions of human beings is that traffic can be fairly easily dealt with! In September, 2016 it was announced that $985 million would be spent on FIRST major concrete road to Adelaide. BET it cost more than that! It IS nice though. See? Another FIRST~! Hard to conceive (truly) that this was the first major concrete road built into a city of Adelaide's size...
The roads in South Australia are tough roads on cars. Most of the roads needed help when I departed in 2013 and some are still in dire need of being repaved today - or - how about just paved!??!??!
Into the city to deal with appointments and errands, so we thought a stop was warranted at one of our former stomping grounds: The Royal Oak. Quirky. Like us. This pub is keen to put on a lot of live music shows from contemporary to blues to country...and feature new, local artists, too. The funky dated décor AND the love of music is what draws us to The Royal Oak.

Take a LOOK:
Old, musical instruments in abundance...all over the place.
Apparently, Tinto is doing just that...
Good time ~ old feel...
Old time diner stools AND...theatre seats BELOW, too!
See? Quirkiness in ABUNDANCE.
You can't move in this place on live music nights.
Well, that used to be the case...bet it still is.
WE shall SEE.
On the path to the Beer Garden ~ DELIGHTFUL.
What more do you want from a pub besides live music on offer
and many choices for a lovely, fresh meal?

TWO RANDOM PHOTOS INSERTED HERE...because I can!
Our Kapunda Heartbeat ~ Henry ~ above...
NOT MUCH MORE.

We'll save one of these for you the next time
The Royal Oak features music.
Ya'll Come.
