Precious Paris.

WHY is Paris so completely precious to me?  My Great-Grandfather was French and named George Saron.  My French sister-in-law believed George's surname would have been spelled 'Saronne' before migrating to the States.  George (MY nickname!) lived in New Orleans for a while, then moved to Memphis.  George and his family had a little general store on Front Street by the Mighty Mississippi.  As a little girl I would stare into his eyes in his photo and SEE my Mother, too.  I have always felt a connection with most things 'French'.  This causes a bit of consternation with my VERY English husband.

Sorry to report I am not tech savvy.  Apparently, too many photos on my camera - need to download to my laptop.

Paris has been a DREAM to me.  There is plenty for me to share; cannot wait.  Spending 2 days and nights here is like placing a toe in the Atlantic Ocean.  But...what a glorious start.

We are heading to Calais, securing Mr. Horace on the train/tunnel and planning on arriving late tonight in Chelsea.

This morning is a bit overwelming.  I grew closer to Tinto; (did not really imagine that was possible).  My Mother came to me in my dreams again last night - telling me 'Good-Bye'.  For the last 3 weeks...anyone who has played a part in my life has featured in my dreams.  A bit unnerving...I open my eyes not sure if I have been dreaming.  ???

After this past travel adventure and the loss of my very significant, wonderful Mother I have earned a degree in LIFE AND have become a Master of Negotiations.

Dreams DO come true.

There is only 1 man on this earth FOR me.

We may be off the radar for a while, but...pleeeease check in from time to time.  I will have plenty of words to produce while in the States.

Travel Gently with Kindness AND an open heart.
