Pics from Perfect Paris (to me!)...

Paris is special because it is such a picturesque city.  There is something to see...literally...on almost every corner.  2 days, OF COURSE, not enough time to see the delights, but...enough to make you want MORE.  I am overwhelmed by the splendor and if Paris cannot capture your heart...well, I would not know what to say to you!??!  The 'out of the way' restaurants are still the most attractive to us.

Yesterday I landed in Atlanta, Georgia and headed to Athens.  My head is spinning with fond family memories and a precious gathering of the English Stevens' clan prior to my departure...

I will leave you with a taste of a very romantic city - Paris, France.

PINK building.  See how she
STANDS OUT???
SEE?????  She is brilliant.
Pics AND words do not do justice to Notre Dame.

I genuinely tried to capture details.

Intricate and awe-inspiring.

Please visit one day if you can.
You will not be sorry...
All eyes were cast upwards!  Stunningly gorgeous and I know I had chills.
A great day for US.
PARIS produces SMILES.
Courtyard of Notre Dame.  A group of soldiers dispersed around the crowd.
Outside of Notre Dame.
It would be lovely to have the Paris view from centre, corner flat.
Overcast, cloudy...NO matter - still romantic.

Balconies...streets - feeling extremely 'French'!  I am taking a BIT of Paris home with me.

Majestic.
Complete JOY upon arrival.

We do not laugh together - EVER.  Tinto does NOT crack me up with his VERY English phrases.
My Handsome Hat Rack.
THIS ONE IS FOR YOU, SUMMER DAYE!  You need to see The Eiffel Tower with your Grand-Mum.  Absolutely.  YOU  continue to work on Spanish.  I will continue to work on French.
Not fair.  Bench seat is uneven (very) and I am about to fall!  :-)
Happy.
Want you to know that the people whom live in these buildings have The Eiffel Tower as their living room VIEW!
Across from Eiffel Tower.  Lower level/Ground level of Tower going through massive renovations at present.
La Colombiere Restaurant - quaint, sweet, chef's home, too!
Front door patio...
Warm, welcoming, inviting - tasty cuisine and well-presented.
Attention to little details...NICE.
Haaaaa!  YES!  ESCARGOT!!!  :-)  :-)  :-)
Good drop of Tinto!!!
We recommend...
I could not take photos until they walked away, but...heavy police and guard presence surrounding Notre Dame AND the most heavily visited tourist site in the world - The Eiffel Tower.  I presume tourists felt safer.  ???  Tinto and I felt safe at all times.  Well, NO, that is not the whole truth.  YOU hop on the back of a little, red scooter that goes faster than it SHOULD on one of the notorious round-abouts in France and SEE how SAFE YOU feel!  Gheeeez!  Tinto was hilarious; he looked into my eyes in Paris and said, 'My Love, you have the knack for back-seat riding now!' - AND - it was our LAST DAY to be ON the scooter!  So.  Bloody.  Funny.

Have proudly taken the last few days to be with Tinto's family members in England and now to be with my 'gels' in Georgia.

Posting with contemplation
and reflection.

Tinto and Blanco

Life is nice through a lens, but sweeter through our own eyes.

Remember to say 'I love you' as often as your heart suggests.
