Majestic Madrid, Spain...

Madrid IS majestic boasting fine, stunning structures.  It is the capital of Spain and is the 3rd largest city in EU after London and Berlin.  I remember being told it holds over 6 million people.  Perhaps this is why Tinto and I did not hang around!  Granada, Barcelona, and the sweet, peaceful town of Almunecar remain at the very top of our 'Glad We Visited List.'

A sunny, crisp, much colder day as Tinto and I walked through the city.  It is a sad point and a regrettable one that Tinto and I did not remain standing in a queue that wrapped around the Muse del Prado which is home to many famous paintings.  Tinto was especially eager to feast his eyes upon more of Goya.  We strive to do and see as much as we can, but we don't always hit the mark!
