A sight for sore eyes...
With good mates it doesn't matter how much time goes by...
We meet each other by happenstance OR..do we?
We find temporary work or a job that fits neatly into a tight study schedule or we are bored and simply want to hop into a paying position that breaks the monotony of a weekly schedule.
It doesn't matter. In these places where WE decide to place our energy, hard work, passion, dedication, talent, ideas...every bit of our essence...we meet others.
It is sheer joy when you meet a person by chance and when you decide to leave an employer...YOU still remain friends with the people you connected with on a different level.
That's the good stuff of life. These mates may not be people you see every week or ring frequently, but...does that matter? THEY MEAN something to you. They make you laugh and you share moments, memories that you'll carry with you for a long time.
It is very special...(continued below.)
...(continued from above) to reconnect.
Last night the rains poured from the heavens. It was shocking. Yes, the region is still desperate for rain so it was a good thing, but not so nice being on the roads. We didn't want to leave the comfort and warmth of The Maxwell House, but...when you get tooooooo comfortable and stay in you miss the MAGIC MOMENTS.
Happy Father's Day - it's just beginning in the States now - hope your DAY starts and finishes in the very best way!
Hope you made new memories this weekend, too. Stay WARM, Australian mates - hope everyone has a great week. Wish we could be participating in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival; this is when we need a flat in the city. TInto...Tinto, My Dear...are you reading this?

I love my Mamma because she taught me how to make the
BEST devilled eggs! YUM. Yes, I do care; I keep some eggs
paprika free ~ just in case!
No decent Southern woman takes her devilled eggs
anywhere without a PROPER devilled egg carrier...right?
Tres' difficile to leave this...
Magic Milli...
Milli sharing her magnificent McLaren Vale wines ~
The Scoundrel AND Drama Queen champers!
GRAND. BRILLIANT names for their wines, too!
Jenny...the 'Hostess with the Mostess'...
My, My...Hugh Hamilton wines ARE divine.
He kept us safe and happy all evening.
Getting ready to prepare home-made pizzas
and fire them up in the outdoor oven.
SWEET. Our GUYS are the BEST, too!
The Musketeers ~ together again.
The Three Musketeers...that is.
I have NO idea; either IT IS UPSIDE DOWN or
Trouble. Plain and truly ~ triple trouble.
We did alright, didn't we?
I was SO good. I was the 'DD'.
Yeah, that's right. Sometimes I DO allow my
husband to consume copious amounts of
beautiful RED. Tinto is working hard ~ he deserved it!
Even though the rains had just showered down upon us...the stars were bright; the evening was glorious. The stars were shining brighter down on earth though! HA!!!
LOVE THESE HAPPY 'GELS'!
Okay. So...I truly DID think it was Father's Day in Australia. I got up and made homemade cinnamon and brown sugar infused pancakes with bananas on top and warm Canadian maple syrup. Tinto was SO very pleased. Then...about 4 hours later I discovered Father's Day is celebrated in September HERE. You think I would know that by now......(continued from above) to reconnect.

Posted by the warmth of The Maxwell House fireplace while Henry runs through his dreams and Little Miss Muffin finally decided to join us. THAT means is MUST be really chilly outside tonight.
