Spontaneity!
Aha! When was the LAST time you were spontaneous? When did you last decide to go in another direction completely? TOSS all plans aside and STOP and venture where it feels like FUN~!
It's not that we haven't been having fun, but Friday came, errands were run, it was an overall terrific morning AND day and I did not want to return home in the afternoon to change clothes and begin renovating...again.
I wanted a martini - a mad martini - a marvelous martini - a darn good martini with some durn good company. And...it happened.
So, that's what I did. Tinto, believe it or not, DROPPED me off because he DID want to go back to the house and do a little more work, feed the precious beings, and then come out to join me. He did just that and by the time he arrived I was smiling.

Too much fun ~ thrilled when happy faces appeared~!
Yes, it WAS a mean martini...the olives are doing their job
and soaking up a bit of fun.
SHE is responsible. WE are not.
He said it wasn't his first martini to make...but, I'm not so sure.
Wooooo, WHAT is UP WITH THIS? My man Tinto is looking a bit short here...???
NOW, see in background? That's a bit better; they're a little more even. Must
be much easier for Tinto to have a conversation!!!
WE HAD TONS of FUN!
Whipped up a big pot of home made broccoli and bleu cheese soup!
Sooooo good on an REALLY COLD NIGHT.
I need a bit of art in that soup, don't I? Hmmmmm...a dollup of sour cream? No, more
bleu cheese crumbles, please.

'WOW'
'WOW'
You're thinking: This woman has lost her marbles and, NO, you may
NOT care about a new washer and dryer. But, when Tinto and I returned home ours were
discarded in the back yard by the big shed. No washer; no dryer.
And, 'Ya'll', it's COLD in Kapunda. So, that means I wash a load of clothes, put them under the verandah to dry and...guess what? NO. They do not dry. Too friggin' cold.
I wait another day and another and another and on the fourth day I flipped my lid (a teeny bit) - hence, new dryer. Nice. Warm. Fresh. Dry. Clothes.
It's the small things in life...
Plus, what about that watermelon paint in the laundry and bath? Ooooooh, I am loving it. Some call it geranium.
I personally do not care what name it has been given.
Bright, warm, FUN.
Cleaned out the fridge today and some BIG BOY got a
half container of vanilla ice cream. I told him to goooooooo slowly, but
did he listen? NO, and he took it to bed with him so he wouldn't have
to share it with Muffin.
Muffin is off pouting and the HENRY
is HAPPY.
Cheers!

If Tinto does not go ROAMING soon on that dirt bike of his...
He IS getting a little grouchy about it ~ just sayin'!
Hope your week is filled with productivity, creativity, but most of all...
LOVE and APPRECIATION.
