Coolum Beach, Queensland with a few pics!

Coolum Beach is quite a sweet spot.  School is out; I was under the impression we would see hordes of families, and there are many young children, but the crowds are not overwhelming.

It IS a lovely, welcoming, and relaxing spot.  The beaches are hazy, lazy, and MANY are dog friendly.  That IS a plus.  Tinto and I appreciate any place that appreciates and values DOGS.  We understand not everyone feels this way...so, to let you know...there are beaches close-by restricting dogs.

New, trendy shops are situated across from beach beckoning you to visit.  Nope.  Not going.

After being overseas for such a long time it is wonderful to finally catch up with loved ones; loved ones leading very busy lives!  Loved ones with nice partners living in groovy spots on the planet - Coolum Beach IS a nice spot in which to play catch up!

Unless you have serious business in Brisbane fly directly into the Sunshine Coast Airport instead.  Save yourself the trouble of trying to navigate through some serious AND lengthy roadworks.  It's a WIN-WIN suggestion!  Cheers!  You're welcome.

Get to Coolum - perhaps AFTER the school holidays.  😎
Ice cream makes U happy?  Really?  We needed a sign for this???

Look closely.  Check it out:  goods of desire
This shop OFFERS goods of desire.
How I lived before this shop opened...I shall never know.
These trees are fantastic and look ancient; and no, I haven't
done my research, but I want to know ALL about them.
Tremendous trunks.
A fine, gorgeous day at Coolum Beach
with a gorgeous girl ~ Tinto's youngest daughter!
 We are chillin'...

It does feel a bit like paradise.

Meanwhile, back at the shops, cafes, and hangin' out with the furry friends...

THIS was our table number; some guests had a mango, a peach,
a pineapple, a dolphin, a whale...the list goes on and on!
This tree is just showin' off his stuff
right in the middle of the parade!
A lovely, restful time in Coolum Beach and
we DID end up with some bright, sunny days
entwined with stormy nights!
Good-Bye Coolum ~ who knows when
we'll see YOU again?!?

Posted by Blanco, returned to the warmth and charm of The Maxwell House.
Enjoy Coolum Beach because you'll have Noosa Heads right UP THE ROAD from YOU, too!
Stay safe out there on the roads while you roam.
