Arrival: Lisboa - Happy Nightmare!

Oooooh, IRIS (SIRI spelled backwards) sent us ONCE AGAIN, to a non-existent caravan site in the city of Lisboa.  Imagine this:  a fairly large motorhome, trailer attached with little, red scooter (!) traversing the inner city small, cobbled roads of Lisboa!  HELP.  QUIETLY.  No caravan site AND RUSH HOUR.  Fortunately, we found a parking spot and agreed to find a nice, quiet space for DOS BEERS and wait for traffic to dissappear.  Well, traffic NEVER stops in Lisbon.  Gheeeeeeeez.  Tinto and I found the loveliest, older, eccentric, tiny cafe which offered everything on the planet and had the most outstanding host...and WAITED while researching sites on Google Maps.  Damn.  Always remember, these maps are NOT a perfect science.  Have an alternate plan ready OR drink more BEER OR VINO and remain CALM.

Difficult to get proper pics at night, but Lisboa was prepared and ready to receive Christmas tourists.  Main roads aglow and...for a moment...it felt as if we were in Chelsea, England.  Apologies, in advance, for poor photo quality.  Lisbon is an exciting AND enticing city. Tinto and I have 'Gone Bush' for soooo long now, we MAY have trouble adapting!  Ha!

Wishing you a loving, safe, happy Christmas season or whatever season YOU MAY celebrate.   May PEACE be with us in 2018...
