Arrived late afternoon Tuesday at Camp Alvor in Portimao. Great drive over in the sunshine...passed two, larger metropolitan cities. Mr. Horace looks out of place in larger cities, but Tinto manages him impeccably through the roundabouts.
We were given strict rules upon arrival, YIKES, but the staff - pleasant. 24 Euros a night; we drove directly to the extreme rear of park, surrounded by GUM TREES (exactly like Australia!) and settled nicely. I attempted to make a new friend (pic inserted) and saw a caravan that Tinto and I have never seen prior to this place! We see many varieties, but...well, see below!
This lovely being would not come close; I even had apples!
Look at tiny break in trees; first thing I saw when we pulled into sight.
See below??? Hand-made? 1950's space egg? I don't know, but...LOVE IT.

Mr. Horace is doing a super job for us. We love our ROLLING,
ROAMING HOME. xxo
Surrounded by Gum trees; the aroma of eucalyptus wafting through the air. IF we spot a Koala, though...I might faint.
Camping Alvor - sweet spot. Full review on Trip Advisor soon.
Safe and Happy Roaming,
Tinto & Blanco
PS: After checking out, Tinto advised me they take cash only. Many spots in Spain, Portugal, and Ireland are cash only. You may want to ring ahead.
